Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the IUCN World Conservation Congress will be held for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa region at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from October 9 to 15. This prestigious event, held every four years, supports international environmental, conservation and sustainably dialogues and initiatives. It will provide a global platform for leaders, experts, and decision-makers to collaborate on effective solutions to the world’s most pressing environmental challenges, further strengthening the UAE’s leadership in nature and biodiversity conservation and species protection.
Occupying almost the entire ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, the IUCN World Conservation Congress is expected to welcome over 10,000 participants from more than 140 counties, including government officials, environmental specialists, scientists, and industry experts. Running alongside IUCN World Conservation Congress, the third edition of the Forbes Middle East Sustainability Leaders’ Summit will return to ADNEC Centre Marina Hall on October 14-15.
