Abu Dhabi-UAE: 04 September 2025 – The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), currently underway at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, is preparing for a high turnout of visitors and heritage sports enthusiasts as the UAE enters a long weekend that includes a public holiday. This is an unmissable event to visit, with a cool indoor environment ideal to spend time with family and friends in the largest event of its kind in the Middle East.
Organised by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Emirates Falconers’ Club, ADIHEX 2025 features a diverse lineup of cultural, educational, and entertaining activities throughout the long weekend, which celebrate Emirati heritage and showcase the latest international products from over 2,000 exhibitors and brands.
There is something for everyone at this event, where children can enjoy live performances, interactive workshops, a wide variety of arts and crafts, and hands-on learning experiences, all while exploring the 15 unique sectors of the exhibition. The wide variety of offerings from exhibitors from 68 countries make ADIHEX 2025 the ideal destination for families looking to spend their day off in a vibrant and enjoyable setting. The introduction of the Souq area in this edition provides an expanded market for visitors to purchase traditional items and innovative products.
A wide variety of animals will be on display throughout the venue including Arabian saluki, horses, camels, falcons and many more types of birds from all over the world, as well as the latest products and services needed to keep and maintain them. This event aims to teach visitors about the historical importance of these animals in Emirati culture and heritage, with several exhibiting brands providing educational information.
Over the long weekend young visitors can participate in the Young Falconers’ Village, an interactive educational zone where children can explore the lifestyle of traditional Bedouin camps and learn about falconry. The area also offers lessons in Emirati etiquette and Arabic coffee preparation, aiming to instill values of hospitality and national identity in the next generation.
Another popular activity will be the Arabic Alphabet Adventure, a 30-minute tabletop board game designed to strengthen Arabic language skills and encourage parent-child interaction. The game board features 28 spaces, each representing a letter of the Arabic alphabet. When a child rolls the dice and lands on a letter, they say a word that begins with it, such as fruit, color, or animal. The parent then shares a cultural reference from Emirati heritage that starts with the same letter. This activity promotes collaborative play and helps build stronger family bonds.
The live Arena area is the centerpiece of ADIHEX this weekend, offering a variety of new shows, auctions, competitions, and cultural displays. This year’s highlights include the debut of the Horse Master Liberty Show, featuring Hollywood’s renowned horseman Ali Al Ameri, who will demonstrate advanced horsemanship and thrilling trick riding. The Emirates Arabian Horse Society will also host an exclusive Arabian Horse Auction from 2 PM to 6 PM on Friday. Additional cultural showcases include the Arabian Saluki Lure Coursing Demonstration, the Falconry and Mongolian Eagle Hunting Simulation, and the Traditional Bedouin Camel Show, providing visitors with a dynamic blend of heritage and entertainment.
A diverse selection of catering options is available throughout the venue, featuring both traditional Emirati cuisine and a variety of food and beverage offerings from exhibitors. Guests can enjoy authentic local dishes as well as explore a wide range of international flavors, ensuring a memorable culinary experience for every palate.
