Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, the third edition of ADEShopper 2015 is set to kick off on Wednesday, 18 March at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
The largest consumer electronics exhibition in Abu Dhabi, the event will offer exclusive deals and bundled offers on a wide range of consumer products from leading brands. This includes ‘Visit and Win’ raffle draws that will give every visitor a chance to win a wide range of electronic gadgets, as well as Etihad Airways tickets and a Ford Mustang 2015.
While each ticket, priced at AED 10 for normal entry and AED40 for VIP entry, will gain discounts up to 50% discount on their VIP entry tickets. Additionally, well known brands and suppliers participating in the event will run promotions that will be limited exclusively to ADEShopper. Participating retailers include Sharaf DG, Plug-Ins, Jacky Retail, Grand Stores, Techlink, and Jurassic, among others. Visitors can also expect a series of promotional events supported by major consumer brands such as Samsung, Nikon, Hisense, Huawei, Toshiba, HP, Quantum, Philips, and AOC.
The Nikon Mr and Miss Photogenic Competition will give an opportunity to select the Nikon face of the year and provides opportunities for everybody to perform on the ramp, a unique opportunity to experience their dreams. and Nikon Photo-shoot Challenge gives an opportunity to test skills in Fashion Photography, will serve as a key attraction of the event, inviting participants to capture ramp walk images. Nikon will additionally offer Nikon School free photography classes for novices, amateurs and aspiring professionals across three sessions daily from 18-21 March, 2015.

In parallel, ADNEC has geared up to handle thousands of visitors that are expected to attend this eagerly anticipated annual consumer event. It comes as part of ADNEC’s priority to ensure that all its facilities consistently maintain high standards at all times to meet the expectation of both organisers and visitors.
One of the largest in the Gulf, the UAE’s consumer electronics market accounts for close to 40 per cent of regional spending, while serving a potential market of almost two billion people. Set to draw more than 30 exhibitors and over 70,000 visitors during its four day run, ADES 2015 convenes at a time when the country’s domestic consumer electronics market is expected to increase in value to US$4.8 billion by end of 2015.
Spanning an area of 10,000 sq mts, ADES 2015 provides exhibitors with an ideal platform to showcase products and services related to information technology, consumer electronics, mobile technology, lifestyle and leisure, as well as gaming, home and office automation appliances, sports and medical equipment, security and control systems.
