Supported by Cultural Programmes and Heritage Festivals Committee - Abu Dhabi, ADIHEX will once again promote traditional sports such as hunting and falconry, to UAE culture. The event will also celebrate the UAE’s desert-related history and traditions, promoting Abu Dhabi as a cultural hub in the region.

Visitors to ADIHEX will get an ideal opportunity to watch and participate in various cultural events and activities including camel auction, falcon beauty contest, Arabian Saluki beauty contest, traditional hunting activities, painting competition, photography competition, poetry contest and Arabic coffee brewing competition. Visitors will also get an opportunity to purchase the latest equipment for camping, hunting and equestrian, outdoor and marine sport and explore the ancient heritage of the emirate of Abu Dhabi by visiting the Heritage Area.

Last year, ADIHEX, which was first launched in 2003, attracted a record number of visitors from over 40 countries including more than 600 exhibitors and companies from the UAE and abroad.
