ADNEC Gears Up to Host World Future Energy Summit

Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has completed its preparations to host the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) and its collocated events including the eighth World Future Energy Summit (WFES).

Set to run from 17 to 22 January 2015, WFES is one of the most important international events dedicated to renewable energy sector, sharpening the focus on the importance of sustainability and environment protection.

Commenting on the event, Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Acting Group CEO of ADNEC, said: “The World Future Energy Summit is a key event on ADNEC’s annual calendar due to the high-level participation of some of the world’s most influential leaders and contingents of official delegates that will headline discussions on the pressing issues sustainability and clean energy for more than a week.”

“ADNEC has been privileged to host this high-profile global gathering since its inaugural edition in 2008. Our top-notch exhibition facilities and infrastructure have ensured the continued success of the event, and created a truly unique experience for both exhibitors and visitors.”

The landmark environmental event will additionally feature discussions focused on new opportunities in renewable energy as well as the development of future strategies to address the interconnected challenges of economic development, water scarcity, poverty, energy and climate change.
